SNAP Load Cell Input Module, 10 VDC Excitation, 3 or 4 mV/V Input Sensitivity

Production Specification

The SNAP-AILC-2 input module works with 3 mV/V and 4 mV/V load cells as a load cell front end. Using a separate 24 VDC power source (purchased separately), the module provides isolated 10 VDC bridge excitation for up to four 350 ohm or 415 ohm load cells.

An LED on the module’s top indicates that 24 VDC are present at the top connector and that excitation is being provided to the load cell.

The SNAP-AILC-2 is primarily used with high-quality 4 mV/V load cells to gather data from force measurement testing.

Part of the SNAP PAC System, the module mounts on aSNAP PAC rackwith a SNAP PACbrainorrack-mounted controller. Analog, digital, and serial I/O modules can all be on the same rack. Such an I/O unit is also well suited for PC-based control or for use as intelligent remote I/O for anAllen-Bradley Logix PLC system, such as ControlLogix, MicroLogix, or CompactLogix.

Also see theSNAP-AILC, which works with 2 mV/V and 3 mV/V load cells.
